ACER Aspire R15 i7 _ 7 Installation of TP-LINK Archer T4U V2 drivers that do not come in the form of a " .exe " file

 

Installation of  TP-LINK Archer T4U V2  drivers for  ACER Aspire R15 i7  Laptop which is running Windows 8 Operating System. 



  •   Download  TP-LINK Archer T4U V2  drivers  from here  as shown below









  •  After downloading the 2 files , the 2 files look something like this
 
  •  Between these 2 files , select the file which is   " Archer T4U(US)_V2_161129_Windows " 

  •  Then unzipped the  file   " Archer T4U(US)_V2_161129_Windows "  by double clicking the file with a mouse .  

  •  Unzipped the file   " Archer T4U(US)_V2_161129_Windows "  as shown  here .  The final results are 7 files will be produced and all these files do not come with a   " .exe "  extension .

  •  To install the   " Archer T4U(US)_V2_161129_Windows " drivers that do not come with a   " .exe "  extension , go to the    " Device Manager "   of the  Windows 8 Operating System  by pressing  WINDOWS LOGO ON THE KEYBOARD  and  X LOGO ON THE KEYBOARD .  Then Clicking the                     " Device Manager "  will show this .  

  •  After that ,  Click the   " Network adapters "  and we will see  3 files appear , that is ,  Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network) , Bluetooth Device ( RFCOMM Protocol TDI ) , and  Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter .

  •  After that , take the   TP-LINK Archer T4U V2   USB  Dongle and insert it in any USB port of the   ACER Aspire R15 i7   Laptop and make sure that the   TP-LINK Archer T4U V2   USB  Dongle  is recognized by the  Windows 8  Operating System . Sometimes there is a possibility that the USB port is faulty or there is a hardware failure with the USB port , so mush so that , the  Windows 8 Operating System do not recognize the presence of the   TP-LINK Archer T4U V2   USB  Dongle . 
 
  •   After inserting the  TP-LINK Archer T4U V2   USB  Dongle inside the USB port of the  ACER Aspire R15 i7   Laptop   , we will see some extra words or statements or files  added to the      " Network adapters "  of the  Device Manager  as shown  here , in addition to the 3 files [  Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network) , Bluetooth Device ( RFCOMM Protocol TDI ) , and  Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter ] .
 
  •   On the  " Other Devices"   of the    Device Manager   that says  " 802.11n NIC "  ,  please update the driver as shown here . After the driver has been updated , a green-colored  LED will be lighted up on the   TP-LINK Archer T4U V2   USB  Dongle  and the   ACER Aspire R15 i7   Laptop  is ready to be connected to the  network.
 
  •   The   " Network adapters "   and  " Other Devices"   that is inside  the    Device Manager  will look something like this  when the   TP-LINK Archer T4U V2   USB  Dongle  is connected to the  USB port of the   ACER Aspire R15 i7   Laptop  when fully operational.
