My vision of a  ALL-in-ONE  machine is a  machine that combine a  Laptop with a  Tablet and with a  Smartphone , and if possible , with a  DVD-RW Player  built-in , which I would like to call                                                                                           [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(All-in-ONE) with built-in DVD-RW Player ]   

• Basically , an   ALL-in-ONE  machine  has to be thin ( not too thin because it has to accomodate a DVD-RW Player ) , light , slim and sleek and reasonably powerful ,  which can serve as a Laptop , which can serve as a Tablet and which can serve as a  Smartphone , that we can use for work , study , play , education and entertainment .

• Basically , an   ALL-in-ONE  machine  can be a 4G folding smartphone ( a typical example is this and this ) or a 5G folding smartphone ( a typical example is this and this ) which we have in the market today in  February 2023 , but it has to be   re-engineered in such a way  that it can be unfolded into a 15 inches Tablet because with that 15.6 inches form factor , a folding Smartphone can also be a 15.6 inches Laptop and it can also be a 15.6 inches Tablet and it can also be a  15.6 inches Smartphone which we can use for work , study , play , education and entertainment . Even though a folding smartphone doesn't come with a built-in DVD-RW Player , but by connecting a Docking Station to the folding smartphone , a DVD-RW Player can then be connected to the folding smartphone . Isn't it great ! As of today , February 2023, there is no commercially available folding Smartphone that can unfold into a 15.6 inches Tablet . As of today , February 2023 , " folding Smartphone that can unfold into a 15.6 inches Tablet "   is one computing device that has yet to be invented, regardless  whether it is   INTEL-based or  ARM-based , regardless of what Operating System it uses , etc., etc.

Traditional laptop

 

Some people say the traditional laptop is dead because most of the laptop announcements that were advertised on the brochures , catalogs, billboards , on the media , etc., etc., do not excite them .  They say , there is not much innovation going on , in the laptop world . But I guess , that was in the year  2018 or before 2018 or a few years before 2018 . But now , as of today , June 2022 , in my opinion , there is some innovation going on in the laptop world .   Firstly , most of the modern laptops are thin , and light ( the machines are already as light as they can possible get BUT  without the built-in DVD-RW Player ) and slim and sleek . Secondly , most of the modern laptops today have bigger screen size which is  15.6 inches or 17 inches or more , regardless whether it is meant for  ordinary users , corporate users , students or gamers .  Thirdly , most of the modern laptops today are  " 360 degrees foldable "  or   " detachable " , which is a good thing because they can be converted into a  Tablet . Fourthly , modern laptops today are equipped with touchscreens just like an Android Smartphone , which is wonderful . Fifthly , some of the modern laptops today are  equipped with  Thunderbolt 3 port ( e.g. DELL XPS 15 )  and some are even equipped with  Thunderbolt 4 port        [ e.g.   HP Spectre x360 Convertible (Core i7, 16GB/1TB, Windows 10) 13.5-inch Laptop - Poseidon Blue (14-ea0054TU )  1 ] . Sixthly , they              ( hardware/software   manufacturers )  are bringing smartphone components , or smartphone hardware components or smartphone technology to the laptop ( regardless  " 360 degrees foldable "  or      " detachable " ) , which is wonderful , like  Front Facing Camera and Rear Facing Camera ( before laptops were using WebCamera ) , smartphone   processor/microprocessor/SoC   from QUALCOMM  and  MediaTek ,   4K Display ( a few examples of smartphone with 4K display are here and laptop with 4K display are here ) ,  can see in bright sunlight , I don't think so , when a  bright sunlight shines on my  SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 9  smartphone , I cannot see anything on my smartphone , believe me , it is not possible yet ( currently , as of today June 2022 ,  the technology is not there yet , the technology to see a smartphone in bright sunlight is not there yet , so , it is not possible with smartphones let alone on a  laptop ) ,  SIM/nanoSIM/eSIM  with   4G LTE/5G   connectivity for high-speed Internet access ( currently , as of today , June 2022 ,   SIM/nanoSIM/eSIM  with   4G LTE  connectivity or  5G   connectivity and   24-hrs high-speed Internet access  and crystal clear   VoLTE/Vo5G   voice calls   is only possible with 4G LTE Smartphones and 5G Smartphones  but not on a  laptop even though it is a  4G LTE  laptop , even though  it is a  5G  laptop ) , etc., etc.  

I guess , these are some of the few innovations that are happening in the laptop world today in June 2022 . There are more to come .  This is not the last invention .   

If God willing , I am looking forward for a day whereby all Cellular Laptops ( 360 degrees foldable or detachable )  fitted with  SIM/nanoSIM/eSIM  with   4G LTE/5G  connectivity for     24-hrs   high-speed Internet access  can also make  crystal clear    VoLTE/Vo5G  voice calls , just like a  4G  Android Smartphone , just like a  5G Android Smartphone . 

 

 Tethering(with respect to 5G) is using your 5G smartphone mobile data to connect to another smartphone(which have no Internet access), to connect to another Laptop(which have no Internet access), to connect to another Tablet(which have no Internet access), to connect to another Smartphone(which have no Internet access), to connect to another Desktop(which have no Internet access), using WiFi or Bluetooth or USB , for the purpose of sharing "High Speed Internet Connection"  at 5G speed.

A   [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone (All-in-One) ] machine , which I envisioned , is not a revolutionary idea or ground breaking . A   [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone (All-in-One) ] machine , which I envisioned , is only using existing technology from a Laptop , from a Tablet and from a Smartphone and putting them altogether into one device , into one machine , which I called the [ 15.6 inches  Touchscreen   "360 degrees foldable"  INTEL-based  Linux  5G Celullar Laptop  with built-in DVD-RW Player  ] which can serve as a Laptop , which can serve as a Tablet , which can serve as a Smartphone , that look something like this . A   [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone (All-in-One) ] machine , which I envisioned , the hardware specs are not high-tech. The hardware specifications are rudimentary, basic, plain and simple . Most importantly , a   [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone (All-in-One) ] machine , which I envisioned , should be stable .

A  [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone (All-in-One) with built-in DVD-RW Player ] machine , which I envisioned , which I called the [ 15.6 inches  Touchscreen   "360 degrees foldable"  INTEL-based  Linux  5G Celullar Laptop  with built-in DVD-RW Player  ] ,  DOES NOT HAVE TO BE      DESIGNED/MADE    TO BE A VERY      HIGH-END  MACHINE ,  IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE MADE WITH CUTTING EDGE  SPECIFICATIONS ,  TO BE A  VERY     HIGH-END DEVICE ,  TO BE A  PREMIUM  MACHINE  TO  CATER  ONLY  FOR  CORPORATE/BUSINESS     USERS , TO CATER ONLY FOR   ENTERPRISE  USERS BUT IT SHOULD CATER ALSO FOR ORDINARY USERS WHO LOVE ONLY ONE MACHINE WHICH THEY CAN USE AS A LAPTOP AND ALSO AS A TABLET AND ALSO AS A SMARTPHONE .  This kind of machine , this kind of  [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(ALL-in-ONE) ]  machine  could change the way we use our  Laptop , our Tablet and our  Smartphone ,  for study , work and play and entertainment .

Users out there , specialized users out there , those requiring to use an Android smartphone  and a  Windows laptop  and a  iPad , in their daily work , I guess , they are probably not the target group for this kind of laptop , for this kind of Cellular Laptop , for this kind of    Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(All-in-ONE)  machine , so , it is hard to recommend this machine to them .  Those users has different wishes , everyone has different wishes .  Hopefully one day somebody will come up with an idea how to build an  Android smartphone  that can transform ( perhaps something like this or this or this ) into a   Windows laptop  and then transform into an  iPad  , so that to cater the wishes of everyone .
