For some people , a smartphone and a laptop are essential to the work they do . But that means buying 2 devices .

And for some people , a Smartphone and a Laptop and a Tablet are essential to the work they do .  But that means buying 3 devices or multiple devices .  They carry a lot of devices ( and a lot of chargers ) . It is an expensive purchase , it is an expensive investment  for sure , but if the people can afford , why not .

Fortunately , if we have  a  [ Laptop/tablet/smartphone(all-in-one) with built-in DVD-RW player ]    machine that I envisioned ,  like for example  the   [ 15.6 inches  Touchscreen  " 360 degrees foldable "  INTEL-based  Linux  5G  Cellular Laptop with built-in DVD-RW Player ]  which can serve as a Laptop , which can serve as a Tablet , and above all , which can also operate like a  Smartphone ,  we shouldn't have to buy 3 devices , we shouldn't have to buy multiple devices , we shouldn't have 3 chargers.  We only buy 1 device . We only carry 1 device .   We only need one device and we only subscribe to one Cellular Data Plan .          

WE WANT TO KEEP IT SIMPLE ON THE ROAD . 

This  1 device  will be our  Smartphone , our  Laptop , our  Tablet ,  our camera ,  our map , our  weather  report/forecast ,  our flashlight [ 1 ] , our music player , our alarm , our translator , our Office/Tech Tools ,  our  [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(ALL-in-ONE) ]  machine ,  which we can use for study , work , play , education  and  entertainment .

eSIM

An eSIM can be embedded into a  PC/Desktop . The   eSIM (about 5x5 mm chip) can be soldered and embedded into the   PC/Desktop   motherboard during the production of the  PC/Desktop in the factory and the eSIM can be use to save SIM Card data or profile . As a result , we can make telephone calls and receive telephone calls from our  PC/Desktop , just like an Android Smartphone .

My  vision of  a  [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(ALL-in-ONE)  ] machine_ Laptop

I have this vision , I have this idea that if we could merge a  Laptop and a Tablet and a  Smartphone into one machine , wouldn't it be great, wouldn't it be nice . 

I would like to call it a  [Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(All-in-ONE)]  machine or  a  Laptaphone ,  a machine which can serve as a Laptop , a machine which can serve as a Tablet and above all , a machine which can serve as a  Smartphone .

Anyway , it is just an idea  so that  a  Laptop or a Tablet or a  Smartphone is  a whole lot more useful than it use to be .  

In my opinion , a Laptop can be a whole lot more useful than it use to be if a Laptop can  be converted into  a  Tablet and at the same time it can also be a  Smartphone .  

So , I come up with an idea !  

Why not we have a Laptop that can make phone calls and reply phone calls like a 5G smartphone !  Or ,  why not we have a 5G Laptop that can make phone calls and reply phone calls like a 5G smartphone !   As of today December 2023 ,  all  5G Laptops (eventhough they have a 5G modem card built-in) in the market , cannot   make phone calls and reply   phone calls like a  5G smartphone , regardless of the Operating System being used , regardless  whether the 5G Laptop is INTEL-based or ARM-based .  

To overcome this dilemma , we have to merge and combine   a  Laptop and a Tablet and a  Smartphone into one machine .  The Laptop must be    "360 degrees foldable"   and must have 5G capability .  In order for a Laptop to have 5G capabilities ,  it needs to have the necessary hardware to support 5G network  , such as a 5G modem , or a 5G USB dongle , which is not present in most of the laptops. come with a  5G modem [ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 ]  and has  a   5G    SIM /  nano SIM   Card  Slot   or  eSIM . That 5G Laptop must have a phone dialer and when we subscribe to a  Cellular Data Plan [ 1 ]  from an Internet Service Provider  that come with a phone number or a personal phone number , we can dial a phone number on the 5G Laptop just like what we do on a 5G smartphone , so much so that we can use that 5G Laptop to make phone calls to someone or to anyone or to a  landline telephone  using   his/her   phone number  and we can also use that  5G  Laptop  to   answer phone calls  from someone or  from  anyone or from a   landline telephone , directly on that 5G Laptop ,  just like a  5G smartphone .  

Sometimes we do not want to make a VoIP  call using a Mobile App like WhatsApp on our 5G Laptop , we have a phone number from someone  and we just  want to dial that 222phone  number on our  5G Laptop ,  just like we do on a  5G smartphone .  With   a   5G    Laptop  like that ,  we should be able to use our 5G  Laptop  as a full featured   phone/Smartphone ,  just like a  5G  smartphone.  Since that  5G  Laptop  is   "360 degrees foldable " , that  5G  Laptop can  serve as  a  Laptop , it can serve as a  Tablet and above all it can serve as  a   5G  Smartphone .  Meaning , we can make phone calls and answer phone calls directly on that  5G  Laptop , just like a  5G  smartphone , either in  LAPTOP MODE or  in  TABLET MODE or in  TENT MODE or in  STAND MODE .  Meaning , we can use the   "360 degrees foldable"   5G Laptop   as a traditional phone or  like a 5G smartphone to make cellular calls . 

No 5G smartphone required.  

No tethering required .  

No  Microsoft Phone Link app required .

I envisioned , a machine like the  [ 15.6 inches Touchscreen  "360 degrees foldable"   INTEL-based    Linux   5G  Laptop with built-in  DVD-RW Player ]   is one  good example of  how we can merge a  Laptop and a Tablet and a  Smartphone into one machine   .  

The  [ 15.6 inches Touchscreen  "360 degrees foldable"   INTEL-based   Linux  5G  Laptop with built-in  DVD-RW Player ] , in my opinion , is a real and a true   [Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(All-in-ONE)]  machine , a machine which can serve as a Laptop , a machine which can serve as a Tablet and above all , a machine which can serve as a  Smartphone .   

A  Laptop  like the   the  [ 15.6 inches Touchscreen  "360 degrees foldable"   INTEL-based   Linux   5G  Laptop with built-in  DVD-RW Player ]   remind us of the heydays of the      mini-Laptop or the  "Phone with a keyboard" or the  Pocket PC ( like for example the  Blackberry , the NOKIA E7 , the  SONY Vaio P , the Planet Computers Astro Slide 5G smartphone ),   but with a bigger screen , that is ,  15.6 inches.   With that kind of features  and  hardware/software   configuration in a Laptop , I think we already have ourselves at our disposal , an incredible 5G Laptop , not only it connects to a 5G network but also it can make voice calls like a 5G smartphone and do all the 5G smartphone related stuff .    

Hardware/software     manufacturers called them    "2-in-1"  laptops  or  "convertible"   laptops but I would like to call them  "3-in-1"  laptops  or    "3-in-1" convertible   laptops  because of  the Laptop  voice-calling  capability like a 5G smartphone .

For some people , including me ,   this kind of 5G Laptop  is  the  machine for every need .  

Currently , as of today October 2023 ,  all  5G Laptops (eventhough they have a 5G modem card built-in) in the market , cannot   make/reply   phone calls like a  5G smartphone , regardless of the Operating System being used ,

 regardless  whether it is INTEL-based or ARM-based . In my opinion, the reason is because the   network providers/carriers/telcos    dictate which  devices(Smartphones, tablet, laptops, 5G USB Dongle, etc., etc.) can   make/reply    phone calls(can utilise VoLTE or can utilise Vo5G/VoNR) and which devices(Smartphones, tablet, laptops, 5G USB Dongle, etc., etc.)  cannot   make/reply   phone calls(cannot utilise VoLTE or cannot utilise Vo5G/VoNR) or perhaps , it may be that the    network     providers/carriers/telcos      does not support  voice calling in 5G Laptop and 5G USB Dongle .   As of today , November 2023 , 5G Laptops , 5G USB Dongle , and 4G Laptops was not originally intended for phone calls like a 5G smartphone , and the   network providers/carriers/telcos   make sure that  all   5G Laptops ,  all  5G USB Dongle , and  all  4G Laptops ,  CANNOT MAKE PHONE CALLS AND REPLY PHONE CALLS LIKE A  5G  SMARTPHONE .   Hopefully , in the not too distant future , this might change .

For me , it would be great if  all 5G Laptops(regardless of the Operating System being used , regardless whether it is INTEL-based or ARM-based) and all 4G Laptops(regardless of the Operating System being used , regardless whether it is INTEL-based or ARM-based) and all 5G USB Dongle(when connected to a   PC/Desktop or a Laptop or a Tablet which have no 5G connectivity , regardless of the Operating System being used , regardless whether it is INTEL-based or ARM-based)  can be use to make phone calls and reply phone calls just like a 5G smartphone , just like a 4G smartphone because with this capability and with this  hardware/software   features , it can replace our Laptop and our Tablet and our Smartphone altogether .  

Meaning ,   

we do not have to buy or purchase a  5G Smartphone ,

we do not have to buy or purchase a  Laptop(which have no 5G) , 

we do not have to buy or purchase a Tablet(which have no 5G) , 

we do not have to juggle with so many devices , a laptop , a tablet and a smartphone , 

we  do not have to carry 3 devices ,    

we do not have to carry  3  chargers .   

we only carry 1 device .  

we only carry 1 item .  

we only carry  1  charger .  

we only subscribe to  1  cellular          data plan .

We only buy  one  machine [ 1 ] , which can serve as a Laptop , which can serve as a Tablet , and which can serve as  a  Smartphone .

Thats it . 

 

As of today , February 2022 , we have Cellular Tablets that can make telephone calls and receive telephone calls just like a 5G Smartphone .

Hopefully , in the not too distant future , by God's Grace , we may have  Cellular Laptops or 5G Laptops [ 1 ] that can make telephone calls and receive telephone calls and can do all the 5G smartphone related stuff, just like a 5G  Smartphone .

Please forgive me for my lovely depiction of my dream 5G Cellular Laptop or my dream 5G Laptop , even though this machine is far from perfect , I believe , this machine will still have inside the hearts of some mind and some people , and I am one of them .

Conclusion : The   15.6 inches  " 360 degrees foldable "  5G  Laptop (which I envisioned shown here ) is a  real or a true

[ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(ALL-in-ONE) ]

machine and it is one computing device that

has yet to be invented .
