DFI GHF51 - smallest PC with AMD Ryzen processor
AMD Ryzen Embedded processors are designed for small, low-power computers. Of all such devices, the DFI GHF51 is by far the smallest.
This 84 x 55 mm single-board computer is about the same size as the Raspberry Pi Model B. But the DFI GHF51, unlike the Raspberry Pi, is equipped not with a low-power ARM processor, but with a 12-watt AMD Ryzen Embedded R1000.
The DFI GHF51 is equipped with AMD Radeon Vega graphics with 3 processing units, support for H.265 video encoding and decoding, VP9 decoding, and support for displays with resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 pixels at 24 Hz.
The system supports 2–8 GB of single-channel DDR4–3200 memory, 16–64 GB of internal eMMC memory and has several ports, including:
- 1 x Gigabit Ethernet
- 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C
- 2 x micro HDMI 1.4
DFI claims that its new single-board computer supports the 64-bit version of Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Linux, but with the Ryzen Embedded x86_x64 processor there is no reason why you cannot run Windows 10 Home or Pro on this device.
