My journey with the Linux Operating System: January 2017

If by adding a Ultra Slim internal DVD-RW player makes the 15.6 inches Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(All-in-One) slightly thicker and slightly heavier, or perhaps the appearance does not look sleek, stylish or elegant-looking, then I hope the hardware/software manufacturer will include a docking station together with the hybrid device . That means when we buy the 15.6 inches Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(All-in-One) , the docking station will be included , should be included inside the box .

2. Physical Appearance :   The 15.6 inches Linux OS
Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(ALL-in-ONE) can have the physical appearance of a Laptop or it can have the physical appearance of a Tablet or it can have the physical appearance of a Smartphone .

IF THE 15.6 INCHES LINUX LAPTOP/TABLET/SMARTPHONE(ALL-in-ONE) LOOKS LIKE A LAPTOP , it should have at least a 15.6 inches screen size and the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid
should be foldable 360 degrees OR
the keyboard should be detachable so that it can be turn into a Linux Tablet or a
Linux Laptop .
Below are examples of computer hardware that are foldable 360 degrees and computer hardware with detachable keyboard :
1.   SONY Vaio Duo 13 13.3 inches
2.   LENOVO Yoga 500 15.6 inches
3.. ASUS Transformer 3 12.6 inches
4.   Microsoft Surface Book 13.5 inches

Another reason the keyboard should be detachable , IF IT LOOKS LIKE A LAPTOP , is because when there is an incoming call on the 15.6 inches Linux OS Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid , the user can detach the keyboard from the 15.6 inches display and take the 15.6 inches display with them and walk to another room within Wi-Fi distance and talk in private ............ eventhough the 15.6 inches Linux OS Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid   (which is connected to a docking station) is doing something in the background , for example :

uploading a 4 GB video file from the Internet
uploading a huge file or a collection of files above 10 GB from the Internet
printing 50-100 pages of documents to a USB printer
watching YouTube/Videos/Movies
hard disk drive cloning using USB port (work with Windows OS and Linux OS only)
transferring files from one computer to another using USB port [ 1 2 3 4 5 ] (work with Windows OS only)
transferring files from one computer to another using Ethernet cable or Wireless
installation of application software for example , Adobe Photoshop , Microsoft Visual Studio , Microsoft Visual Basic , Microsoft Office , etc. (work with Windows OS only)
installation of CAD programs (work with Windows OS and Linux OS only)

IF THE 15.6 INCHES LINUX LAPTOP/TABLET/SMARTPHONE HYBRID LOOKS LIKE A TABLET , it should have at least a 15.6 inches screen size and it should have at least 3 units of full-size USB 2.0 or 3 units of full-size USB 3.0 and all the necessary hardware specifications mentioned below .

IF THE 15.6 INCHES LINUX LAPTOP/TABLET/SMARTPHONE HYBRID LOOKS LIKE A SMARTPHONE , it should have at least a 15.6 inches screen size .
As of today , 26th.October2018 , big screen Smartphones is only
6 inches or 7 inches screen size .
Could you imagine a 15.6 inches Smartphone ?
Nowadays making a phone call with a 10.1 inch Tablet or 10.8 inch Tablet or 12.2 inch Tablet or 12.9 inch Tablet is normal
BUT USING A 15.6 INCHES SMARTPHONE OR 15.6 INCHES TABLET TO MAKE A PHONE CALL MAY SOUND UNORTHODOX .
A good implementation for a 15.6 inches Smartphone is to increase the current screen size of Smartphones from 6 inches or  7 inches to 15.6 inches . There is nothing wrong with having 15.6 inches Smartphones . If we can have 15.6 inches Laptops in the market then having a 15.6 inches Smartphone in the market today can be accepted especially when the 15.6 inches Smartphone is thin and light and sleek and slim and the 15.6 inches Smartphone can function like a Laptop , can function like a Tablet and can function like a PC just like a 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid that I envisioned .
The 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid should have at least  3 units of full-size USB 2.0 or 3 units of full-size USB 3.0 and all the necessary hardware specifications mentioned below .
Another good implementation for a 15.6 inches Smartphone is the dual screen foldable design adopted by a hardware/software
manufacturer named ZTE . A good example of the dual screen foldable design Smartphone is the ZTE Axon M Smartphone by ZTE [ 1 2 3 ] .  The ZTE Axon M Smartphone dual-screen opens to 6.8 inch diagonal display but the Linux OS Smartphone which I envisioned , the dual-screen opens to 15.6 inch diagonal display.  It is really fascinating to see when the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid which have the physical appearance of a Dual-Screen Smartphone and when the dual-screen opens , it opens to a  15.6 inch diagonal display

Regardless whether the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid looks like a Laptop or it looks like a Tablet or it looks like a Smartphone , regardless whether the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone is thin or light or sleek or slim , the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid must have at least 3 units of full-size USB port . Having 3 units of full-size USB port in a 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid is very useful . Firstly , we can use the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid for hard disk drive cloning . Secondly , we can use the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid to install other Operating System . But before the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid can do hard disk drive cloning and install other Operating System , there must be a UEFI/BIOS present or installed on the System Board of the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid . For the hard disk drive cloning process , 1 unit of full-size USB port is connected to an external DVD-RW drive (so that we can insert a bootable Live CD like Clonezilla for cloning purposes) and the other 2 units of full-size USB port is connected to the SOURCE hard disk drive and the TARGET hard disk drive . There are many solutions out there that can clone a hard disk drive without using a PC or a Laptop but if we can do with it a 15.6 inches Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid
it would be great and it is definitely a bonus .

P.S. Let us say for the sake of elegance , or appearance , or
because the hardware/software manufacturer want to make
the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid
thin and light and sleek and slim and they decided not to
include USB ports inside the 15.6 inches Linux
Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid , then the
hardware/software manufacturer can always use a
docking station and put all the necessary ports inside the
docking station .

Processor/microprocessor : INTEL Core i7 or a combination of INTEL Core i7 with QUALCOMM Snapdragon 835 , that means , 2 processors in one machine like a dual processor system , just like in the PC environment . Mixing 2 different processors/microprocessors architecture is an engineering challenge for computer design engineers [1] . But if if is possible , the benefits are
worth it . The combination of INTEL i7 processor and Snapdragon 835 processor should make the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid or the 15.6 inches Linux Cellular Laptop an incredible multitasking machine , so , when doing multitasking jobs like below , the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid do not stutter/lag/slowdown/hang/crash .

Most important , the 15.6 inches Linux
Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid
screen/display should be able to see in bright sunlight .

Camera : Front Facing Camera 5 megapixels minimum
Rear Facing Camera 8 megapixels minimum with
autofocus (SONY-made)

I STILL THINK A GOOD QUALITY FRONT FACING CAMERA AND A GOOD QUALITY REAR FACING CAMERA IS A NECESSITY FOR TAKING DECENT QUALITY PHOTOS AND DECENT QUALITY VIDEOS IN A 15.6 INCHES LINUX LAPTOP/TABLET/SMARTPHONE HYBRID .

UEFI/BIOS(software/firmware) must

be present on the System Board so that we can do hard disk drive cloning and install  other Operating System on the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid .
To install other Operating System  on the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid , the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid should have at least ,  2 fullsize USB 2.0 port or 2 full size USB 3.0 port to be able to do this . 1 unit of full size USB 2.0 port or 1 unit of  full size USB 3.0 port is connected to a DVD-RW drive and the
other full size USB 2.0 port (or USB 3.0 port) is connected to a
USB Flash Drive or External USB Hard Disk Drive . Then insert a
Live DVD (Linux OS KNOPPIX 8.1 or Linux OS Ubuntu 17.10 )
to begin the software installation on the USB Flash Drive or External USB Hard Disk Drive . BECAUSE OF THE MULTITASKING NATURE OF THE 15.6 INCHES LINUX LAPTOP/TABLET/SMARTPHONE HYBRID COMPUTER HARDWARE , installation of other Operating System like Linux OS KNOPPIX 8.1 or Linux OS Ubuntu 17.10 on the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid does not override the existing hard disk drive OS which is inside the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid . The only snag when installing other OS is , the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid cannot make telephone calls and receive telephone calls , cannot send and receive sms , cannot WhatsApp , cannot WeChat , cannot
Instagram , etc., etc. After the other OS installation is complete and after we have reboot/restart the
15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid then only we can use the 15.6 inches Linux Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid just like an ordinary Android
Smartphone , just like an ordinary Windows Smartphone .  Now , we can make phone calls , we can receive phone calls , we can send sms , we can WhatsApp , we can WeChat , we can watch YouTube/Videos/Movies , we can connect to printers , we can connect to scanners , and a long list of everything the PC/Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone can do ……..…….. we can also do with our 15.6 inches Linux  Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone hybrid .

LAPTOP/TABLET/SMARTPHONE IS
GOING TO BE  SLIGHTLY THICKER AND SLIGHTLY
HEAVIER BUT  THEN THE HARDWARE/SOFTWARE
MANUFACTURER WOULD HAVE A REAL WINNER
HERE BECAUSE IT IS A WELL ROUNDED
MACHINE FOR WORK AND PLAY AND THIS IS THE
DEVICE FOR EVERYTHING . IT IS A VERY GOOD
SOLUTION , I ONLY CARRY ONE DEVICE AND I DO
NOT HAVE TO CARRY SO MANY DEVICES FOR MY
LAPTOP/TABLET/SMARTPHONE NEEDS . I DO NOT
HAVE TO CARRY 3 ITEMS . I ONLY CARRY 1 ITEM .
I ONLY CARRY ONE UNIT OF 15.6 INCHES LINUX
LAPTOP/TABLET/SMARTPHONE HYBRID .
   ANYWAY , IT IS MANY TIMES
BETTER TO CARRY THIS THAN TO CARRY THIS
IF THERE IS A HARDWARE/SOFTWARE
MANUFACTURER THAT IS WILLING TO MAKE
THIS KIND OF DEVICE , IT IS WORTH WAITING
FOR . I THINK THIS IS A STEP IN THE RIGHT
DIRECTION .
  I THINK THIS IS THE FUTURE .
