What matter me most in a 5G USB  Modem/Dongle    with telephone functionality , that I envisioned , is that the  5G USB     Modem/Dongle with  telephone functionality  must work with any 5G SIM Card  from any Network Mobile Operator , meaning , when any 5G SIM Card is inserted into that  5G USB Modem/Dongle   and when that 5G USB  Modem/Dongle   is connected to a PC/Desktop(of our choice) or connected to a Laptop(of our choice) or connected to a Tablet(of our choice) or connected to a    Workstation/Engineering Workstation(of our choice) , via a   USB 3.0  port or a  USB Type-C  port ,  we must be able to use  the  5G USB  Modem/Dongle    with telephone functonality  to make phone calls and   reply/answer   phone calls directly on that  PC/Desktop , we must be able to make phone calls and   reply/answer   phone calls directly on that Laptop , we must be able to make phone calls and   reply/answer   phone calls directly on that Tablet  and  we must be able to make phone calls and   reply/answer   phone calls directly on that   Workstation/Engineering Workstation , without having to rely on a 5G smartphone. 

Imagine , having a PC/Desktop , or a Laptop or a Tablet or a   Workstation/Engineering  Workstation that can make telephone calls to a landline  telephone/number or reply telephone calls from a  landline   telephone/number   and can make telephone calls to any  5G smartphone and reply telephone calls from any 5G smartphone ,  with the help of the   5G USB  Modem/Dongle   with telephone functonality , that I envisioned .  

 Imagine , getting a ringing tone on your  PC/Desktop , or on your Laptop , or on your Tablet or on your   Workstation/Engineering Workstation when somebody start calling you !  Isn't that great !

P.S.  As of today February 2025 , most of the 5G USB  Modem/Dongle or almost all the 5G USB Dongle sold in the market today , for example this or this or this , when they are connected to a  PC/Desktop, or to a Laptop or to a Tablet or to a   Workstation/Engineering Workstation , the 5G USB  Modem/Dongle can give instant 5G connectivity ,   the 5G USB  Modem/Dongle can also be use to  make voice/video  calls using VoIP .

I am a strong advocate for 2-in-1 Laptops but recently I came up with an idea if I could merge a Laptop and a Tablet and a Smartphone(a 5G smartphone) into 1 single device , it would be great.
