Hi Copilot , I am a strong advocate of a  5G Laptop THAT HAVE TELEPHONE FUNCTIONALITY LIKE A 5G SMARTPHONE .  As of today , May 2026 , to the best of my knowledge , I have not seen any 5G Laptop THAT HAVE TELEPHONE FUNCTIONALITY LIKE A 5G SMARTPHONE .  As of today , May 2026 , we have seen Laptops that are getting thinner , Laptops that are getting lighter  , Laptops that are getting slimmer , Laptops that are getting sleekier ,   Laptops that have a front facing camera and a rear facing camera instead of a Web Camera ,  Laptops that have a built-in DVD-RW Player , Laptops that have different/various types of Ports , Laptops that have

A  5G Laptop THAT HAVE TELEPHONE FUNCTIONALITY LIKE A 5G SMARTPHONE(regardless of the Operating System being used) , in my opinion , if existed , represents a significant leap forward in 5G technology , setting a new standard what a 5G Laptop can achieve.  This kind of 5G Laptop may be a game-changer for electronic devices or a game-changer for a computer hardware .  I  feel the  5G Laptop THAT HAVE TELEPHONE FUNCTIONALITY LIKE A 5G SMARTPHONE(regardless of the Operating System being used) , don’t expect to see people using it , don’t expect to see people selling it in the Computer Stores anytime soon because this is one device , because this is one machine, that has yet to be invented.

     

Why do we want a  5G Laptop THAT HAVE TELEPHONE FUNCTIONALITY LIKE A 5G SMARTPHONE ?

In my own words , I guess my answer is plain simple , if a 5G smartphone can make telephone calls and reply telephone calls then a 5G Laptop should be able to do the same .  Meaning ,  when we subscribe to a Cellular Data Plan from a Telco or from an Internet Service Provider  for  our 5G Laptop  ,  our  5G Laptop must come with a Telephone Number just like a 5G smartphone so that any users with a 5G smartphone can make phone calls  to our  5G Laptop or to any 5G Laptop .   In my opinion , 5G Laptop manufacturer must collaborate with  Telephone Companies in order to get Certification so that  5G Laptops HAVE TELEPHONE FUNCTIONALITY LIKE A 5G SMARTPHONE .  As of today July 2026 , in my opinion , 5G Laptops have all the neccessary hardware and the software that is required to make telephone calls just like a 5G smartphone .  The presence of a 5G Laptop WITH TELEPHONE FUNCTIONALITY LIKE A 5G SMARTPHONE does not mean that it is the Final Nail In The Coffin for the 5G smartphone industry .  In my opinion , a 5G smartphone and a 5G Laptop can compliment each other . Currently , as of today July 2026 , 5G Laptops are quite expensive , let alone a 5G Laptop  WITH TELEPHONE FUNCTIONALITY LIKE A 5G SMARTPHONE .  In my opinion , the price of a   5G Laptop  WITH TELEPHONE FUNCTIONALITY LIKE A 5G SMARTPHONE   must come down in order to reach a critical mass .  Currently , as of today July 2026 , most 5G Laptops are designed to be thin and light  and slim and sleek and most of them come with   2-in-ONE   design , meaning , they are  "360 degrees foldable" .........
