Troubleshoot Linux Operating System KNOPPIX 7.2 64bit (knoppix64) with Windows XP 32bit as the Guest OS. Windows XP 32 bit Guest OS no sound and no audio when playing YouTube

I was caught off guarded this time and I manage to find out that the Alsamixer ' Front ' volume was at the lowest volume. This can be seen as shown below.

So, what I did is to just increase the ' Front ' volume on the Alsamixer GUI to maximum and everything is back to normal as shown below.

Linux OS command to remove/delete directory and all its contents

rm -rf <DirectoryName>

This command will remove a directory and its contents without prompting you to make sure you want to delete each file in the directory. Substitute <DirectoryName> with the actual directory name.

Troubleshoot " speedtest.net " application software on MSI GE70 computer hardware

Update the Linux Operating System Ubuntu 14.04 LTS by opening up a Linux prompt and key in the Linux command # apt-get update and hit ENTER
Then, key in the Linux command # apt-get install adobe-flashplugin and hit ENTER. After that fire up this handy app " Speedtest.net " and it will be okay

Troubleshoot YouTube videos playing too fast and without sound by mrinal saha

mrinal saha says go to System> Preference> Sound> and select ' Analog Stereo ' for the sound output. Followed his instructions and Click ' Applications ' as shown below

Then move the arrow to ' Debian ' and Click ' Debian ' as shown below

Then move the arrow to ' Applications ' and Click ' Applications ' as shown below

Then move the arrow to ' Sound ' and Click ' Sound ' as shown below

After Clicking ' Sound ' select the Sound Application that we use. For me, I select the ' pavucontrol ' for my sound system because I use ' pavucontrol ' to control the volume on my You Tube videos. I also use
' pavucontrol ' to control the volume on my PHILIPS Shoqbox SB7200 Bluetooth speaker when I connect my Linux machine to the PHILIPS Shoqbox SB7200 Bluetooth speaker. Details are shown below.

Click ' pavucontrol ' and Click ' playback ' and then Click ' Cedar HDMI Audio [Radeon HD 5400/6300 Series] Digital Stereo (HDMI) as shown below

Click ' Cedar HDMI Audio [Radeon HD 5400/6300 Series] Digital Stereo (HDMI) ' and replaced it with
' Built-in Audio Analog Stereo ' as shown below

After that, playback on You Tube videos will be back to normal and the sound will be back to normal. Once again, thank you very much mrinal saha for this awesome tip.
