With the advent of 5G and IoT ,  hardware/software     manufacturers  of  all Windows-based laptops with INTEL  processors  or  Windows-based Laptops with ARM processors  should have  5G cellular connectivity that can make phone calls and reply phone calls just  like a  5G smartphone . A good example of an INTEL-based  Windows Laptop that can make phone calls and reply phone calls just  like a  5G  smartphone  is the machine shown above .

How to get 5G Internet access on a Laptop , and the answer is by using machines like these , which is a 5G Laptop .    As of today October 2025 ,  the price of  5G  Laptops  is still expensive .  

On the other hand , in my opinion , the least expensive way to get 5G Internet access  on a Laptop and at the same time make phone calls and reply phone calls directly on the Laptop , just like a  5G  Smartphone ,  on any computer hardware  of our choice ( regardless whether it is a PC/Desktop or a Laptop or a Tablet and regardless of the Operating System being used  ) , is by connecting them ( regardless whether it is a PC/Desktop or a Laptop or a Tablet and regardless of the Operating System being used  )  to a  5G voice-calling USB   Modem/Dongle  that look something like this .   The link shown here ,  if I am not mistaken ,  is a 4G-version of the  Voice-calling USB  Modem/Dongle .  

As of today October 2025 ,  a 5G USB Modem/Dongle  or a 5G USB Stick is already available in the market , but  a  5G USB Modem/Dongle  or a 5G USB Stick  that can give voice-calling or  telephone functionality to a  PC/Desktop or to a Laptop or to a Tablet or to an  Engineering ,  is not available yet and this is one device that has yet to be invented.
