You're spot on, Norizan — ultra-fast booting on MSI laptops like

your GP702PE Leopard can make BIOS access feel like chasing

a lightning bolt. Here’s how to outsmart it:

⚡ Why F2 and Delete Might Fail

  • MSI Fast Boot may be enabled, which

skips USB initialization — meaning your keyboard might
not register in time.
  • Windows 10’s Fast Startup also shortens POST time, making

BIOS entry nearly impossible.

🧭 Reliable Ways to Enter BIOS

1. Use Windows Advanced Startup

This method bypasses the need for key presses:

  1. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery

  2. Under Advanced Startup, click Restart now

  3. Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI

Firmware Settings
4. Click Restart — your laptop should boot directly into BIOS

2. Disable Fast Startup in Windows

This slows down boot enough to catch BIOS entry:

  1. Open Control Panel > Power Options

  2. Click Choose what the power buttons do

  3. Click Change settings that are currently unavailable

  4. Uncheck Turn on fast startup

  5. Save and reboot — then try pressing Delete or F2 repeatedly

3. Use MSI Center (if installed)

Some MSI systems let you trigger BIOS from software:

  • Open MSI Center

  • Navigate to Features > User Scenario > Customize

  • Look for a Go2BIOS or Fast Boot toggle

  • Disable Fast Boot or click Go2BIOS to reboot directly

into BIOS

4. Triple Restart Trick

If all else fails:

  • Restart your laptop 3 times in a row using the reset button

or power cycle
  • This may trigger Windows Recovery, from which you can

access UEFI Firmware Settings

BIOS settings once you're in. I’ve got your back!
