 5G _     My   vision/version/idea/impression    of a   5G USB Modem/Dongle(or a  5G  USB  Stick) [ 1 ]  _    Basically , it is a  5G  USB Modem/Dongle (or a 5G USB Stick) just like any other 5G USB Modem/Dongle(or a  5G  USB  Stick) that is sold in the market today that look something like this or this or this or this .

  

The only difference is that my  vision/version/idea/impression    of a  5G USB Modem/Dongle(or a  5G  USB  Stick) is that when the   5G USB   Modem/Dongle    is plugged or inserted inside any  traditional  PC/Desktop(any PC/Desktop of our choice that do not have 5G) or any  traditional Laptop(any Laptop or older laptop models of our choice that do not have 5G) or any traditional Tablet(any Tablet or older Tablet models of our choice that do not have 5G) ,  the 5G USB Modem/Dongle(or 5G USB Stick) will upgrade the  PC/Desktop , or Laptop , or Tablet to 5G smart devices immediately  and  they are connected to a  5G network immediately  and they will always be connected to a 5G network as long as the 5G USB   Modem/Dongle(or 5G USB Stick)  is attached to the  PC/Desktop or attached to the Laptop or attached to the Tablet .

What makes more interesting about my vision/version/idea/impression   of  a  5G  USB  Modem/Dongle(or 5G USB Stick) is that , while the  PC/Desktop  or  Laptop  or   Tablet is accessing the Internet at  5G speed using the  5G  USB   Modem/Dongle(or 5G USB Stick) , they can also use the  5G USB Modem/Dongle(or 5G USB Stick) to  make phone calls and reply phone calls just like a 5G smartphone using voice over 5G ,  directly on that PC/Desktop or directly on that Laptop  or directly on that  Tablet   ,  without the need to configure the 5G USB Modem/Dongle(or 5G USB Stick) .

For me , this seemed like a cheaper solution and a simpler solution to get into the  5G bandwagon.  No 5G Cellular Laptops needed. No 5G Cellular Tablets needed . No 5G smartphones needed .

 

This is the kind of 5G USB Dongle(or 5G USB Stick) that I envisioned that has yet to be invented.

 

The  5G USB   Modem/Dongle[ 1 1 2 3 4 5 ] or  5G USB Stick [ 1 1 2 3 4 5 ] that I envisioned have a  built-in 5G modem [ 1 ] and  can support various major Operating Systems, like for example Windows Operating System, Linux Operating System and  Android Operating System, etc., etc.

 

A  Cellular Data Plan [ 1 ]  for the 5G USB   Modem/Dongle  or  5G USB Stick that I envisioned  coming  from an Internet Service Provider should be quite straight forward .  No data caps , no contracts , no hidden fees , meaning , we can use our 5G connection as much as we like without fearing for using too much data and  IT MUST BE REASONABLY PRICED .   This has to  be because , at times when the need arise , we need to have  a   5G USB  Modem/Dongle or  5G USB Stick  connect to our  Laptop   24 HOURS ONLINE .  There are many good reasons why a Laptop is connected online 24 hours with the help of a   5G USB  Modem/Dongle or  5G USB Stick , and one good reason that I could think of is that, someone or somebody might give a  emergency call  2 o'clock or 3 o'clock  in the  morning(it could be a matter of life and death) to our Laptop(a  Laptop that is connected to a  5G  USB    Modem/Dongle    which can make phone calls and reply phone calls just like a 5G smartphone) from a  landline telephone  , or from a  5G  smartphone  or  from a  5G  Cellular Laptop(a  5G Cellular  Laptop that  can make telephone calls and reply telephone calls just like a 5G smartphone) or from a  5G Cellular  Tablet(a  5G Cellular Tablet that  can make telephone calls and reply telephone calls just like a 5G smartphone) ,  and that is why the Laptop have to be connected to the 5G  USB    Modem/Dongle   at all times  and the 5G connection must not fail .   The 5G connection provided by the   5G  USB    Modem/Dongle   must not fail in the sense that we do not have to worry that  the 5G connection all of a sudden , suddenly dropped or keep disconnecting ,  when we are in the middle of a conversation when making an emergency call , when we are in a middle of a  large file transfer  , when we are in the middle watching a good movie on  our   Laptop(a Laptop that is connected to a  5G  USB   Modem/Dongle) , when we are in the middle of a video conferencing  session ,  when we are in the middle of a   ZOOM session , when we are controlling our drone during flight during a    movie/documentary   production,  etc., etc.

Furthermore ,  a  SIM Card inside a   5G  USB   Modem/Dongle  or  a SIM Card inside a  5G USB Stick that  I envisioned,   must be interchangeable and can be swapped back and forth  with another  Android 5G smartphone , or with another Android 5G  Laptop , or with another Android 5G Tablet, or with another Android 5G Folding Smartphone , so much so that if we were to remove the  5G SIM Card  from the  5G USB  Modem/Dongle(or 5G USB Stick) and insert it inside another  5G Laptop or another 5G Tablet or another  5G Smartphone , or another 5G Folding Smartphone , we should be able to use that 5G SIM Card(the SIM Card from the 5G USB  Modem/Dongle)   to  make phone calls and reply phone calls  to another   5G  Laptop or to another  5G  Tablet or to another  5G smartphone or to another  5G  Folding Smartphone ,  just like we do on our  5G smartphone .

I guess , there seems to be no limit to how we can access to a 5G network . With   a   5G USB Modem/Dongle(or  5G USB Stick) that can do like that , I believe , is a new way to use mobile lines and SIMs .  The point of this kind of  5G USB  Modem/Dongle(or  5G USB Stick) is that it is a cheap way to access a  5G network and the new way to make phone calls and answer phone calls without having to purchase a  5G smartphone or a  5G Folding Smartphone or a 5G  Cellular Laptop or a 5G Cellular Tablet.

As of today October 2025 with the advent of 5G , and IoT, implementing  a  voice-calling feature  in a   PC/Desktop or in a Laptop or in a Tablet , just like a 5G smartphone using a 5G USB   Modem/Dongle [ 1 1 2 3 4 5 ]  or a 5G USB Stick [ 1 1 2 3 4 5 ] , in my opinion ,  is not an extra fancy feature anymore and , it should be standard in all 5G USB Modem/DONGLE or 5G USB STICK sold in the market today.
