As of today October 2023 , I have always like to include a  DVD-RW

 Player [ 1 2 3 4 ] in a computer hardware configuration , regardless

 whether it is  a  PC/Desktop or a Laptop or a Tablet [ 1 ]  or a

 Smartphone or a Folding Smartphone(a Docking Station is  connected to ,

 preferably , a folding Folding Smartphone (via usb-c interface) which has been unfolded

 into a  15.6 inches Tablet and then an External DVD-RW Player is connected to the

 Docking Sation)  or in an Engineering Workstation , regardless of the

 Operating System being used .
