Optional: Disable Password on Wake from Sleep
If the PC goes to sleep, it may still ask for a password.
- Open Settings → Accounts → Sign-in options.
- Under Require sign-in, set it to Never.
⚠️ Important Notes
- This makes the PC completely unsecured — anyone can access it without a password. Since it’s for your daughter’s casual use, that may be fine, but keep in mind if the PC has sensitive files.
- If you ever want to re-enable security, just reverse the steps above.
