Each device requires its own SIM card to connect to the Internet .

I believe a 5G smartphone have a different hardware as compared to a 5G Laptop (a 5G Laptop that can make phone calls and answer phone calls just like a 5G smartphone) . For example , the 5G smartphone SAMSUNG Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G use a Snapdragon 888 processor which include the integrated X60 5G modem  and the  5G Laptop  SAMSUNG Galaxy Book Go  5G  [ 1 2 ]  use a  Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2  processor  which include the integrated X55 5G modem .  Even though both of them are ARM-based machines  , they do not use the same ARM-based   processor . Furthermore , both of them use different Operating Systems . The SAMSUNG 5G smartphone use  Android 11 Operating System ( upgradeable to Android 13 )  and the SAMSUNG 5G Laptop  use  Windows 10 Operating System ARM-based ( not INTEL-based). Correct me if I am wrong , I believe , this could be the reason why each device requires its own SIM card to connect to the Internet .
