Linux Operating System ( based on KNOPPIX 9.0 ) " Mouse Settings " Utility

Procedure to change mouse pointer or cursor to a different color ( e.g.  purple color )    using    Linux  Operating   System ( based on   KNOPPIX 8.6  or  KNOPPIX 9.0 )

1.   #   apt-get  update ( After a fresh installation of  Linux Operating System

KNOPPIX  9.0  on a  thumb-drive or on a Hard Disk Drive  or  using

KNOPPIX 9.0   Bootable  DVD ,  run the command   "apt-get  update" )

2.   #   apt-get install   chameleon-cursor-theme

3.       After that move the  mouse  cursor to   " preference "  then

" customize look and feel "  and then  select  " mouse " .

P.S.     Mouse cursor size is  quite  satisfactory for me when I select                                                    "  chameleon-purple-large " and the color  " purple "  is also quite okay for me . I would prefer        " red color "  but since  it is not provided  with the       utility / GUI   ,  I am more than happy with what I have currently ,   and    ,  the above-mentioned comand should be sufficient for me
