Service Engineer at Digital Equipment Malaysia Sdn Bhd –
Responsible for field service calls which include installation,
maintenance, trouble-shooting and repair of Philips Data Systems
computer hardware (PHILIPS Printers, PHILIPS Banking Terminals,
PHILIPS Word Processors, PHILIPS Automatic Teller Machines) and
DIGITAL computer hardware (DIGITAL Personal Computers, DIGITAL
servers, DIGITAL Workstations, DIGITAL printers). In the workshop I
did attend to repairs on the module level and minor repairs on PCB
component level. I am thankful to Allah SWT and it is by Allah's
Grace, I have reached the pinnacle of my career, that is, from
Computer Technician to Senior Computer Technician and finally to
Customer Service Engineer / Field Customer Engineer. Frankly, today,
if I were to start fresh somewhere, I would probably need some of
those Diplomas or Degrees to get the job I have now or to get the job
I am doing now.
