You can have as much as you want but all that matters is the capacity based on HDD capacity or the RAM memory . If you load it with more OS soon your system will slow down and you can expect a crash. Its not advisable to use more than a single Windows OS. You can add a Ubuntu or Linux or Unix to the Windows. At most you can have an XP with windows above XP. More than that it isn't worth installing. Instead as suggested you can use virtualisation softwares like VMware etc.
