correct me if I am wrong

As of today , May 2022 , most of the folding Smartphones in the market , do not unfold to a 15.6 inches screen size , do not unfold into a 15.6 inches Tablet .

ZTE Axon M when unfolded it has a 6.75 inches screen size

Microsoft Surface Duo 2 when unfolded it has a 8.3 inches screen size SAMSUNG Galaxy Z Fold 3 when unfolded it has a 7.6 inches screen size

OPPO Find N when unfolded it has a 7.1 inches screen size

For some consumers , for some people , when they see a folding Smartphone which can unfold to a 15.6 inches screen size to become a 15.6 inches Tablet , they love it very much . The main reason I believe is that for some people who want only one computing device , 15-inches screen size hits the sweetspot . It's the minimum screen size to achieve the kind of usability , required in having only one computer , required in having only one machine . And that one machine , and that one computer , that one computing device could be a folding Smartphone (a folding smartphone which can unfold into a 15.6 inches Tablet) or a 15.6 inches Cellular Laptop (360 degrees foldable/detachable) whereby both of these machines can unfold into a 15.6 inches Tablet , whereby both of them can be used as a Laptop or as a Tablet or as a Smartphone .

Below are samples of folding Smartphones , with various designs , which in future , can be turned/transformed into a 15.6 inches Tablet if the hardware/software manufacturer wishes to do so . The advantages of these design is that , they are thin and light [ 1 ] and slim and sleek and we can hold the machine , we can hold the Tablet like this . Just imagine holding a traditional 15.6 inches Tablet or 17 inches Tablet ( which is quite heavy 1 ) like this . With a wireless/bluetooth keyboard and with a wireless/bluetooth mouse , all these folding Smartphones below can be turn into a 15.6 inches Linux Laptop , or a 15.6 inches Windows Laptop , or a 15.6 inches Android Laptop if we want to , with respect to the Operating System installed inside these folding Smartphones .

As of today , July 2022 , a true Mobile Laptop ( 4G LTE or 5G ) or a true Cellular Laptop ( 4G LTE or 5G ) , in my opinion , do not require a Smartphone to intervene in order to get high-speed Internet access ( tethering a phone to a laptop ) and to make phone calls and receive phone calls . Nowadays , July 2022 , with the advent of 5G and IoT , and with the new modern laptops , tethering a phone to a laptop in order to get high-speed Internet access on a laptop and to make phone calls and receive phone calls on a laptop , ARE GONE . As of today , July 2022 , whatever we do on a Smartphone can also be done on our 4G LTE or 5G Mobile Laptop , on our 4G LTE or 5G Cellular Laptop but on a bigger screen due to the hardware/software/systems integration which combine a Laptop, a Tablet and a Smartphone into one device , into one machine [ 1 2 ] . As a result , there is no need to purchase or buy or carry a Smartphone because the Cellular Laptop is the Smartphone [1 2 ] .

As of today , February 2022 , we have Cellular Tablets that can make telephone calls and receive telephone calls just like an Android Smartphone .

Hopefully , in the not too distant future , we may have a 15.6 inches 4G LTE Cellular Laptop ( foldable 360 degrees or detachable ) and 15.6 inches 5G Cellular Laptop ( foldable 360 degrees or detachable ) , too , with phone functionality ( make telephone calls and receive telephone calls using a Cellular Laptop ) just like an Android Smartphone .

I hope there is a hardware/software manufacturer who are not afraid to be the first to manufacture such a device , to manufacture such a machine , to manufacture a 15.6 inches [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone (All-in-ONE) with built-in DVD-RW Player ] machine .

P.S. In my opinion ,

for a real Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone

( ALL-in-ONE ) machine to be successful ,

for a real Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone

( ALLin-ONE ) machine to make their way

into the real world ,

for a real Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone

( ALLin-ONE ) machine to " take off " ,

the

chip/SoC manufacturers ,

the Cellular Laptop manufacturers , the OS

providers , the carriers/telcos , MUST

COLLABORATE WITH EACH OTHER IN ORDER

TO PROVIDE THE CAPABILITIES SO THAT

ALL CELLULAR LAPTOP ( 4G LTE or 5G )

CAN OPERATE LIKE A 4G SMARTPHONE ,
CAN OPERATE LIKE A
5G SMARTPHONE .

A good example of a traditional Tablet which I like very much is the 17 inches ACER Aspire Z3-700 computer hardware . I look forward to one day whereby ACER would bring a 15.6 inches version or a 17 inch version of a Tablet that look something like the ACER Aspire Z3-700 computer hardware but with a much stronger INTEL processor , and a much stronger graphics hardware , has a built-in DVD-RW Player , has a built-in battery which can last slightly longer , has a SIM/nanoSIM/eSIM for 4G LTE/5G connectivity and can operate like a Smartphone ( can make telephone calls to any landline telephone or any smartphone and can receive telephone calls from any landline telephone or any smartphone ) , and running Windows 10 Operating System or Windows 11 Operating System .

With these hardware specifications, I believe a machine like this can be a real or a true " ALL-in-ONE " PC .

With these hardware specifications , I also believe a machine like this can qualify to be a real or a true [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone ( ALL-in-ONE ) with built-in DVD-RW Player ] machine because this machine can operate like a Smartphone , because this machine can operate like a Tablet and because this machine can operate like a Laptop ( when connected to a wireless/bluetooth keyboard and a wireless/bluetooth mouse the Tablet behave like a PC/Desktop/Laptop ) .

With these hardware specifications , I also believe a machine like this can qualify to be a real or a true 4G LTE Windows Cellular Tablet or 5G Windows Cellular Tablet .

As of today , July 2022 , the computing device that has yet to be invented is the : [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone (ALL-in-ONE) with built-in DVD-RW Player ] machine which can operate like a Smartphone , regardless whether it has the physical appearance of a folding Smartphone , regardless whether it has the physical appearance of a " 360 degrees foldable " or " detachable " laptop , regardless whether it has the physical appearance of a Tablet , regardless whether it is INTEL-based or ARM-based , regardless whether it is running Windows Operating System or Linux Operating System or Android Operating System or Google Chrome OS .

Sad to say that , one important feature they ( the hardware/software manufacturer ) left out or overlooked in their 4G LTE Laptops and 5G Laptops, is phone/telephone functionality just like an Android smartphone . that is , to be able to talk to each other with a cellular laptop [ 1 2 ] , to be able to talk to each other on the cellular laptop screen , with “ crystal clear “ voice using VoLTE ( just like a 4G smartphone ) or Vo5G ( just like a 5G smartphone ) . .
