LINUX FOLDING SMARTPHONE 5G

 My vision of a   Linux

Smartphone [ an  INTEL-based   Linux

   Smartphone/Tablet/Laptop(ALL-in-ONE)

which has the physical  appearance of a  folding  Smartphone   ]

hardware specifications :

1.     Linux Phone Screen size
when  unfolded :   15.6 inches  Tablet

                        Why  15.6  inches [ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 ]
Computer hardware with  15.6 inches screen
                                 [ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 ]

2. Physical Appearance :   It  must  look  like a
    Smartphone ,
that is , it has to be thin and light and slim and sleek like a
Smartphone        and at the same time it is foldable .
Imagine this , picture this , when a  folding Smartphone
(dual-fold  or  tri-fold or whatever the design )  is unfolded ,
it should be able to  transform into  a    15.6 inches  Tablet       ( some people say it is awkward to hold a   15.6 inches  Tablet let
alone making phone calls with it but when you have a tablet that
looks like  a   15.6 inches version of   SAMSUNG   Galaxy
TabPro S  or  a   15.6 inches  Tablet  that has been unfold  from
a  SAMSUNG Galaxy Fold 3    5G    smartphone , it should be
acceptable  ) and it is like  having  a   15.6 inches
screen  size-Version   of   SAMSUNG   Galaxy TabPro   S
screen  size   but running  Linux Operating System
or  it is like having  a   folding smartphone  like
" SAMSUNG Galaxy Fold 3  5G "    which can unfold into
a  15.6 inches  Tablet  but running
     Linux  Operating  System .
     Connecting  a   wireless/bluetooth   mouse and a
wireless/bluetooth  keyboard  to the  15.6 inches  Tablet
automatically transform it into a   15.6 inches  Laptop  and
when plugging it into a Docking Station we can use it like a
traditional  PC/Desktop , we can use it like an Engineering
Workstation , to connect to various
computer  peripherals   and
hardware devices , utilising  the
Linux Folding Smartphone  to  it's  fullest  potential .

3. Processor/microprocessor :   INTEL-based
      processor/microprocessor  [ 1 2 3 4 ]  not ARM-based
      processor/microprocessor .  As of today , May 2022 ,
        Intel’s chips ,  INTEL   processor/microprocessor  power
       most desktops , laptops  and
notebooks . These are desktop CPU's that INTEL have
been pushing for several years , but  Intel chips , INTEL
       CPU's  are  absent in smartphones.
Today ,  May 2022 , almost all smartphones  use chips
       based on  ARM’s architecture.
Using  INTEL chip or  INTEL  processor/microprocessor
in a  Smartphone could bring the Linux Mobile Ecosystem
to Life and it is going to be amazing  if we could
turn our Linux smartphone into a Tablet especially
into a  15.6 inches Tablet so that we can fit an i7
processor or the latest ATOM processor  into the   15.6
inches Tablet to boost the performance of the  15.6
        inches  Tablet .

     ( i ) A strong  INTEL-based  processor/microprocessor  inside a
Linux  folding  smartphone , will make the
display  very responsive , browsing the web is fast and casual
      games can be played  [ 1 2 3 4 5 ] .
It does not have to be the latest or the greatest CPU or the
bleeding edge of CPU  because  a  Linux
      Smartphone  [ an  INTEL-based   Linux
      Smartphone/Tablet/Laptop(ALL-in-ONE)  which has the physical
appearance of a  folding  Smartphone  ]  is not meant to do
overclocking or heavy gaming or  video editing or
3D rendering ,  as long as the display is very
responsive , browsing the web is fast and casual games can be
      emails , send  sms , WhatsApp , WeChat , Snapchat , Vidmate ,
Facebook ,  Instagram , etc.,  it should be fine .

      (ii)  A  strong  INTEL-based   processor/microprocessor that is
x86-based  inside a  Linux  folding smartphone  will be able to
run the full desktop version of  Linux Operating System
( example Linux OS Ubuntu   )

      (iii) A  strong   INTEL-based   processor/microprocessor  that is
x86-based  inside a Linux  folding smartphone , will
give users a fully-functioning Linux desktop in their
      Linux  Smartphone  [ an  INTEL-based
      Linux   Smartphone/Tablet/Laptop(ALL-in-ONE)  which has the
physical  appearance of a  folding  Smartphone  ] .

      (iv) A  strong   INTEL-based   processor/microprocessor that
is  x86-based  inside a   Linux  folding  smartphone  should be
able to run   Linux  OS  Applications  ,
for example , Libre Office , Open Office , VLC Media Player ,
      GIMP , etc., etc.

      (v)  A  strong   INTEL-based   processor/microprocessor that
is  x86-based  fitted  inside a   Linux  folding  smartphone
             should
             be able to
          run   LinuSystem  Utilities  because
          most  Linux System Utilities   are
            designed/developed/written/programmed     to work very well
with machines running INTEL-based   processor .

     (vi)  A  strong   INTEL-based   processor/microprocessor that
is  x86-based  fitted  inside a   Linux  smartphone ,  can
              handle
multitasking  task ( randomly select a few task
from the list  below ) better than  ARM-based  processor .
Examples of  computer task  are  shown  below :
              ( a )   making a phone call

                 ( b )   receiving a phone call

                 ( c )   sending sms

                 ( d )   uploading a 4 GB video file from the Internet

( e )   uploading a huge file or a collection of files above
                          10 GB from the
Internet .  Engineering Diagrams  files ,  AutoCAD
                           files , etc.,  are
                           huge  files .

                 ( f )    watching   YouTube/Videos/Movies/Netflix/iFlix

( g )   hard disk drive cloning with  Clonezilla   using USB
                          port (work with
Windows OS and Linux OS only)

( h )   transferring files from one computer to another
                          using USB port
                          [ 1 2 3 4 5 ]   (work with Windows OS only)

( i )   transferring files from one computer to another using
                         Ethernet cable
or  Wireless  with the  help  of   Home  Wireless
                         Router .

( j )   using USB port to connect to a External USB  DVD-RW  drive to
watch DVD movies  (work with Windows OS and Linux OS
                    only)

Blu-ray movies  (work with Windows OS and Linux OS
                    only)

( l )   using USB port to connect to Printers  [ Home Printers and
Departmental Printers  (work with Windows OS  and
                    Linux OS  only) ]

( m )   using USB port to connect to   Scanners/Flatbed  Scanners  (work
with  Windows OS  and  Linux  OS  only)

( n )   using USB port to connect to Digital Camera  (work with
Windows  OS and Linux OS only)

( o )   using USB port to connect to USB TV Tuner  (work with
Windows OS and Linux OS only)

( p )  installation of CAD programs  (work with Windows OS
                   and Linux OS  only)   [ 1 ]

( q )   installation of application software for example ,
Adobe Photoshop ,  Microsoft Visual Studio ,
Microsoft Visual Basic , Microsoft  Office ,
                 etc.   (work with
                 Windows OS only)  [ 1 ]

( vii )   Last but not least ,
believe ,   Linux Smartphone or Linux
            folding Smartphone runs
great or  better on  INTEL   processor than an
                ARM-based  processor .   Also ,
I   believe ,  the  Linux  Phone   is
not  dead yet ,  the  Linux  Phone  is
coming back , but , with
a  different  layout and with a
different design and at the same time  the Linux Operating
System keeps getting better and better everyday .

4. Linux Operating System :  Ubuntu Touch

5. GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) :

A strong GPU so that the display is very responsive , browsing
      the web is fast and casual games can be played  [ 1 2 3 4 5 ]
It does not have to be the latest or the greatest GPU or the
bleeding edge of GPU , as long as the display is very
responsive , browsing the web is fast and casual games can be
played , it should be fine .

6. Display Resolution :  minimum  1920X1080 pixels
Full HD .  Touchscreen Technology .

7. Display Technology :  TFT or OLED or AMOLED or
           whatever .
Most important , the  Linux  Smartphone
           [ INTEL-based     Linux
           Smartphone/Tablet/Laptop(ALL-in-ONE) which has the
physical appearance of  a  folding   Smartphone  ]
screen/display  should be able to see in bright sunlight ,
           for  outdoor  use .

8. Camera :  Front Facing Camera 5 megapixels minimum
                              Rear Facing Camera 8 megapixels
                              minimum with
                              autofocus (SONY-made)

I STILL THINK A GOOD QUALITY FRONT FACING CAMERA AND A GOOD QUALITY REAR FACING CAMERA IS A NECESSITY FOR TAKING DECENT QUALITY PHOTOS AND DECENT QUALITY VIDEOS  IN  A    LINUX  SMARTPHONE
 [ an  INTEL-based   Linux
Smartphone/Tablet/Laptop(ALL-in-ONE)  which has the physical
appearance of a folding  Smartphone ]

be present on the System Board  of  the     Linux  Smartphone [ an  INTEL-based   Linux
Smartphone/Tablet/Laptop(ALL-in-ONE)  which has the physical
appearance of a  Smartphone ]  , so that when there is a requirement to  do hard disk drive cloning  ( for example to clone  a  Windows 10 OS  Hard Disk Drive or a  Linux OS  Hard Disk Drive )   and also  when there is a requirement to install  Windows 10  Operating System on the  Linux Smartphone [ an  INTEL-based   Linux
Smartphone/Tablet/Laptop(ALL-in-ONE)  which has the physical
appearance of a  Smartphone ] ,  we should be able to do it , just like a  traditional   INTEL-based  PC/Laptop . Most System Utilities   are    designed/developed/written/programmed     to work very well with machines running INTEL-based   processor  and  running Windows  Operating  System  or  a  Linux  Operating  System .

10.  Ultra Slim internal DVD-RW player :

Ultra Slim internal DVD-RW player must be present
inside the  Linux Smartphone [ an  INTEL-based   Linux
Smartphone/Tablet/Laptop(ALL-in-ONE)  which has the physical
appearance of a  Smartphone ]  .

Linux  folding  Smartphone with   " two-screen "  design   like    ZTE AXON M  , when unfold into a  15.6 inches  Tablet ,  I  believe ,   the   ZTE   hardware/software manufacturer   can   squeeze  a   Ultra Slim internal DVD-RW player inside  the  Linux  folding  Smartphone .  I say this  because when  the  Linux  folding Smartphone  is  unfolded into a  15.6 inches  Tablet  ,  there is ample space  to  combine the electronics of the  Smartphone together with  a  DVD-RW  Player ,  even if it makes the  15.6 inches    Smartphone/Tablet  slightly thicker .
If there is no  built-in  DVD-RW Player  inside the  Linux folding Smartphone ,  the presence  of   a  Ultra Slim internal DVD-RW player can still exist   inside a   folding  Linux  Smartphone   by  connecting a  Docking Station [ 1 ] to the  USB Type-C  of the Linux  folding  Smartphone and then connect an External DVD-RW Player to the   Docking Station [ 1 ] .

11. Connectivity and ports  for
Linux Smartphone [ an  INTEL-based   Linux
Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(ALL-in-ONE)  which has the physical
appearance of a  folding  Smartphone ] .

voice calling , sending sms , emails ,
                                                WhatsApp , WeChat , Snapchat ,
Facebook , Instagram , etc., etc. and
                                                high-speed Internet access and
                                                broadband  using
                                                4G LTE/5G   network )

(d) USB  Type-C
        (inside Linux Smartphone)

                                               1.  it can be use for multiple                                           monitor setup .

                                    2.  can be use for
                                         hard disk drive cloning using
Clonezilla with the help of 2 units
                                                        of  USB 3.0  Full Size

                                                3.  useful for connecting to
                                                     USB   Printers/Scanners/Flatbed
                                                     Scanners

                                                                 HDTV , etc.)

(h) RJ45 port
        (inside Docking Station)

                         (with integrated Gigabit
                         Ethernet ,
useful for uploading huge files or a
                                 collection of files above 10GB
from the Internet , uploading huge
files above 10GB from the Internet
is much faster with LAN cable

                                                        Animations , etc.)

13. Battery life :    6 hours or more

P.S.       THESE HARDWARE SPECIFICATIONS MENTIONED
ABOVE LOOKS INSANE FOR  A  SMARTPHONE
COMPUTER HARDWARE BUT THIS IS THE KIND OF
              MACHINE THAT SOME CUSTOMERS AND
MYSELF HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR .  WITH THE                  ABOVE MENTIONED HARDWARE SPECIFICATIONS ,

              DOCKING  STATION ,  THE  MANUFACTURER
              WOULD HAVE A
              REAL WINNER
HERE BECAUSE IT IS A WELL ROUNDED
MACHINE FOR STUDY , WORK AND PLAY AND THIS
IS THE  DEVICE FOR EVERYTHING .
THE LINUX SMARTPHONE  IS A VERY GOOD
SOLUTION ,  I ONLY CARRY ONE DEVICE  AND I DO
NOT HAVE TO CARRY SO MANY DEVICES FOR MY
              LAPTOP/TABLET/SMARTPHONE  NEEDS . I DO NOT
              HAVE TO CARRY 3 ITEMS . I ONLY CARRY 1 ITEM .
I  ONLY CARRY ONE UNIT OF
              LINUX  SMARTPHONE [ an  INTEL-based
              Linux     Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(ALL-in-ONE)  which
has the physical  appearance of a  Smartphone   ]
ANYWAY ,  IT IS MANY TIMES
BETTER TO CARRY THIS THAN TO CARRY THIS
              IF THERE IS A     HARDWARE/SOFTWARE
MANUFACTURER THAT IS WILLING TO MAKE
THIS KIND OF DEVICE , IT IS WORTH WAITING
FOR .  I THINK THIS IS A STEP IN THE RIGHT
              DIRECTION .
I THINK THIS IS THE FUTURE .
              IF THERE IS NO     HARDWARE/SOFTWARE
              MANUFACTURER  WILLING TO MAKE THIS
              LINUX  SMARTPHONE  FOR
              SOME REASON ,  I  AM  UNAWARE  OF ,  I
HOPE  TONY STARK  OR  SOMEBODY IN THE
NERD  LAB  1 ]  WILL  MAKE  ONE .
              RADIATION FROM CELLPHONES .  KEEP
              CELLPHONES OR SMARTPHONES OR
CELLULAR LAPTOP A SHORT DISTANCE AWAY
WHEN USING IT .  AVOID PROLONG USE OF THE
              DEVICE .  [ 1 2 3 ]
