New MacBooks fail to install Linux_THIS IS A TEST

Last week, Apple showed MacBook Air and Mac mini laptops . In them, as in the older models of 2018, a specialized T2 chip is installed . It is connected with controllers of SSD-drives and other devices. The chip performs a number of security tasks, and in addition, it does not allow installing Linux on computers .

The fact is that when you try to load an operating system that is not digitally signed by Apple, the system only allows switching to Recovery and Diagnostics modes. Installing a third-party OS, of course, is not done.
