Why would a person keep working after age 65 ?
People who work after retirement often remain more active and socially connected , which can mean better overall health and fewer medical issues . Working part-time can give you a sense of being part of something without being tied to a career and long hours .
Why do older people continue to work ?
Some people decide to continue working because they need the money , while others love what they do and can't imagine not doing it anymore or just need to stay busy . With continued improvements in health care and life expectancy , people can spend as long in retirement as they spent working .

Han Chye (DIGITAL Malaysia's Customer Services Manager)
DIGITAL/DEC/Digital Equipment Malaysia has multiple service offices providing responsive and comprehensive on-site maintenance and suppport services to its customers in Malaysia and Brunei. In order to increase and maintain customers' system uptime, DIGITAL uses state-of-the-art technology in remote diagnostics to pro-actively diagnose system and peripheral performance. Digital Equipment Malaysia's Remote Diagnostics Center, in the company's headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, has the capability to remotely dial into any scheduled or planned customer site and has access to the error log file. This is done only with the authorisation from the customer. Artificial intelligence is then employed to systematically identify the failing components. In most cases, the company's Customer Services engineers are able to replace the component and remedy the situation before it develops into a problem.
Service offerings
In order to provide customers with the choice of services, Digital Malaysia offers three types of maintenance services. These services are supported by the Hardware Product Services division. For customers with the VAX 8800 and VAX 6000 family computers, the 24 by 7 service offers customers access to Digital Customer Services engineers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The service includes all parts and labour. Customers with Digital computers with warranty is provided with this service. After the warranty period, customers are given the opportunity to take the advantage of the 24 by 7 service at the price of the normal service, said Digital Malaysia's Customer Services manager, Han Chye. The DECservice package provides eight-hour coverage, Mondays through Fridays. Digital Customer Services engineers are committed to working round-the-clock, at no extra charge to the customer, until the system is fully operational. The most economical service package is the Basic Service package. Customers enjoy same or next day response with this service. The 24 by 7 and the DECservice offerings provide customers with a guaranteed response time of within 3 hours. Digital's Customer Services Software Product Services division offers similar range of services as the Hardware Product Services described. "All these services are further enhanced by Digital's communication capabilities. With over 50,000 computer nodes, linking Digital offices worldwide, this world largest private network provides facilities to directly access into historical databases of faults and symptoms, for both hardware and software trouble-shooting purposes, and thus able to provide our customers with the best of services," Han Chye pointed out.
Hotline support
Digital's Telephone Hotline Service, available at all times (including public holidays), is accessible to Digital's customers in Malaysia and Brunei. Customer Services engineers are dispatched, with the proper parts, as soon as the service call is registered.
System performance monitoring tool
Digital provides customers, under warranty or contract, the privilege to monitor the performance of their entire system and network on a real-time basis. MIS or EDP personnel can easily record and evaluate system and network performance with this tool. Apart from the extensive inventory of computer parts which are available in each of the service offices, a powerful and high-performance logistics advisory and tracking system, which links Digital Malaysia's local stockroom to its counterparts worldwide, provides comprehensive and fast logistics spares services to meet customers' requirements.

insane levels of re-engineering
A [ Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone(ALL-in-ONE) with built-in DVD-RW Player ] machine , like for example , the [ 15.6 inches Touchscreen “ 360 degrees foldable “ INTEL-based Linux 5G Cellular Laptop with built-in DVD-RW Player ] or the [ Linux 5G Folding Smartphone ] , I believe , shows an insane levels of re-engineering because of the complexity in combining a smartphone , a tablet and a laptop into one device , into one machine .

Cycling in Malaysia
If we enjoy biking/cycling this much , don’t move to Malaysia .
Biking here in Malaysia is 99% for recreation , sports and fitness .
Taking Klang Valley as an example , we Malaysians would likely
find ourselvespedaling/cycling early on Saturday and Sunday mornings only , and
wearing a helmet . Not like the people who live in Netherlands or
Holland who ride their
bicycle casually without wearing a helmet regardless whether they are
going to
school [ 1 1 2 3 4 5 ] , going shopping [ 1 ] , going to a hospital [ 1 ] , going
to work, etc., etc.
All other times or most of the time we Malaysians , in big cities like
Kuala Lumpur ,
Penang , Ipoh , Melaka , Johor Bahru , etc., etc., are driving with our
cars ( big or small for safety , convenience and ambience or whatever ) or
motorbikes ( big or small for convenience , economical reasons or
whatever ) , when
going to School , going shopping , jalan-jalan cari makan , going to a
hospital ,
visit relatives , going to work , balik kampung , and other
activities , etc., etc. In my
opinion , Malaysia is a car-centric nation . Taking Klang Valley as an
example , and in Kuala Lumpur , we have flyover to reduce traffic
congestion and the roads are well connected to
the last mile . Simply amazing ! In Malaysia , I guess having a
car ( big or small , old or new ) or a
motorbike ( big or small , old or new ) , is the most appropriate means of
transportation , to go
to places , to reach places , to reach destinations and to go every where
and to go to every nook and cranny in Malaysia .
So , how on Earth , can Malaysia be a cycling nation . In my opinion ,
I believe , we still can . Taking Kuala Lumpur as an example or
as a case study . In my opinion , in a nutshell , for a start , firstly ,provide good bicycle infrastructure for city dwellers , that is , create a
bicycle path or bicycle/bike lanes that separate the bicycle/bike lanes from motorcar lanes for city dwellers . Secondly , create routes , shortest routes , from residential places to places that are popular to the Malaysian crowd ( places that are frequently visited by
Malaysians in Kuala Lumpur . Among them are popular places , like Movie Theathre , Shopping malls that are popular to the public , Lake Gardens , Museums , Gallery , Sports Stadium , Railway stations ,
Hospitals , etc., etc. ) . Thirdly , provide good bicycle infrastructure for cities that are near to KL , provide good bicycle infrastructure for cities heading towards Kuala Lumpur , like for example , Ampang , Gombak , Petaling Jaya , Kelana Jaya , Subang Jaya , Shah Alam , etc., etc. , to go to KL and all these popular places .
Malaysians , young or old , rich or poor , with different walks of life , who live around these areas , I believe , if provided with good bicycle infrastructure ( something like this or this or this or this or this ) or bicycle lanes and routes , that are safe and sound , to go to Kuala Lumpur and back home , will definitely use the bicycle lane to go to Kuala lumpur , when going to School , going shopping , jalan-jalan cari makan , going to a hospital , visit relatives , going to work , balik kampung , and other activities , etc., etc Of course we do not expect everyone or everybody who lived around these areas to ride a bicycle to go to Kuala Lumpur , but I believe Malaysians who love cycling or Malaysians who love riding a bicycle will use the bicycle lane to go to Kuala Lumpur , and as a result , it will definitely reduce the amount of cars that go to KL , it will definitely reduce the amount of cars that enter Kuala Lumpur , so much so that there will be less carbon emission ( reduce carbon emission ) and the air around Kuala Lumpur will be less carbon monoxide .
Anyway , as of today , October 2022 , Malaysia is not a bicycle-friendly city
